I have a proven track record of success in scaling operations, providing strategic direction, propelling financial and operational excellence, and positioning organizations to become sustainable industry leaders in dynamic, social, and competitive landscapes.

 

My diverse career experience working in public and private sectors, different industries and professional services (e.g., energy, financial services, automotive, retail, media, crown corporation, nonprofit) and diverse functional areas of Strategy and Finance, Accounting Operations, Information Technology (IT), Governance, and Internal Audit, has enabled me to be a big-picture and strategic thinker with the business acumen and hands-on expertise to collaborate on complex problems and guide organizations through goal setting, strategy development and execution while effectively aligning the people, processes, structures, systems and values to achieve the organization’s aspirations.

 

With demonstrable capabilities for influencing change and establishing trusting relationships, I am proficient at building high-performing teams, defining expectations, communicating vision, and monitoring performance to achieve successful business and organizational outcomes. Through exceptional employee engagement outcomes and improved team performance, I pride myself on being an inclusive leader, advisor, coach, and mentor who empowers and inspires diverse teams to enhance their skills and productivity in pursuit of individual and organizational excellence, driving continuous improvement.

 

As an active contributor to my community, I mentor future CPAs and business and technology professionals. As an alum of the Rotman School of Management, I am an Executive MBA Women Ambassador. I am also a board director and audit and finance committee member at non-profit organizations.
