I am the Executive Director at South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (SSCF), a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of community life by connecting donors, charities, and causes. I have over 25 years of experience in public relations and communications, and I am a certified coach and facilitator with expertise in emotional intelligence, leadership development, and bridging difficult conversations.
In my current role, I execute the organization’s mission, strategy, and business plan, working closely with the board of directors, staff, and stakeholders. I lead the fundraising, marketing, and community engagement initiatives, and I oversee the operations, administration, and programs of the organization. I use my coaching mindset and skills to empower and support my team, and I foster a culture of trust and collaboration among all partners. I also leverage my media relations and advocacy skills to promote the mandate and services of SSCF, and to influence positive social change in the region. My goal is to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve, and to inspire others to do the same.
